Here is my problem. The computer I synced my iphone with has been reformated, therefore my computer now no longer recognizes my iphone and wishes to erase and sync.

My contacts were saved on my computer before it was reformated. I fear that if I let my computer sync, then it will erase all my contacts since my reformated computer no longer carries the past data.

How do I save and restore my contacts and applications without having to do it manually?

You can get the iphone 3G refurbished for around $50 so i was wondering if the 3Gs is worth the $250 extra.

I was shopping on ebay and they have a cell phone that looks like a iphone but isn’t an iphone. It looks as though it does the same things and works the same. So is there any difference besides the name and price??? Has anyone owned one before or now???

I have an iPhone 3g. The firmware is version 3.1.2. I have bought a lot of music off of my iPhone. I recently synced my iPhone, and some of the songs made it while others didn’t. I clicked transfer purchases but the songs still did not appear. I have iTunes 9.

I jailbroke my iphone 3g, which was running firmware 3.1, in the process of which I lost all of pictures, contacts, apps, etc. But these are all saved in a backup file. However I think that if i restore the iphone normally it will overwrite the firmware and it won’t be jailbroken anymore. Is there any way that I can restore it from backup without restoring the firmware?
Does that make sense?

I took the iphone off the charger when it was updating from the computer. On the screen it has the apple and a loading bar but the loading bar isn’t loading. I took it off the charger because it said on the computer that it was completely done updating. But now the iphone is not working at all. What do i do to fix it?

i have the iPhone data plan which includes an additional payment of $30 a month, but i do not have my iPhone anymore. I am wanting to buy an iPhone online but it requires a data plan purchase also. how do i buy an iPhone online and simply put my sim card in it?

Yesterday night I plugged my iphone in to charge. I must have pressed clocks when I put it in as this morning when I woke up, 8 hours later, and unlocked the phone clocks was the first thing to show up on screen. Does that mean that the internet was connected all night or does it disconnect when it locks?

I think my parents are planning to buy me an iphone for my sweet 16 and I wanted to know whether it’s worth buying or not.

I know the phone itself will cost 150+tax but how much will it if I added:
-100+ mins per month (i dont use cell phones much)
-unlimeted texting
-free incoming calls

I don’t need the internet or anything.
