I have an iPod Touch, but I am planning on buying an iPhone soon. I have a bunch of apps that are games and have my save file on them, but I don’t know how can I transfer the app onto my iPhone and keep the same save file. I have an iPhone 3g. The firmware is version 3.1.2. I have bought a lot of music off of my iPhone. I recently synced my iPhone, and some of the songs made it while others didn’t. I clicked transfer purchases but the songs still did not appear. I have iTunes 9.

I jailbroke my iphone 3g, which was running firmware 3.1, in the process of which I lost all of pictures, contacts, apps, etc. But these are all saved in a backup file. However I think that if i restore the iphone normally it will overwrite the firmware and it won’t be jailbroken anymore. Is there any way that I can restore it from backup without restoring the firmware?
Does that make sense?

I’ve got a jailbroken iphone. I’ve got some apps which i have used and have a lot of notes on, some programs bought on itunes. For example note programs, and i really need to back them up to my pc in case something happens to the iphone. How can i do this?

I am asking this is because I am planning on buying an IPhone mainly because of its applications, like the beatmakers, music makers, anything that is connected with music making applications and some other video stuff. I wont be doing wifi/surfing the internet. Just plain old call and sms plus the applications.

I just downloaded the update to my iphone and it erased all of music. I am in itunes but I do not know how to download the music back to my iphone. Could someone please help me out and provide as specific instructions as possible?
